We are accepting donations that will be brought to Costa Rica.

My name is Josh Woda, and I was asked to help find a home for all of the equipment that has been donated to the club recently.  Through the US Soccer Association I have found a local organization that collects soccer equipment to bring to refugee camps in Costa Rica.  One man in particular, collects the equipment, brings it to the camp, and trains the kids himself.   He has done this for the past three years and is looking for anything from cleats to balls, although he does not need shorts or jerseys.

I have met with him once already and dropped off the supplies we already had.  His next trip is in July and he could use anything he can get his hands on.  There are about 55,000 people in this camp, so you could imagine how much they could use this equipment.  He said when he went last year that they only had two soccer balls.  If you could simply take a little time to look through any old equipment that would be great.

If you have any used equipment, feel free to drop it off at the YYSC office located in the YCCC building.
